I led a two-person team of UX writers for the non-profit organization YesLiberia to create an easy-to-use content design system and write copy for critical pages of their website.

FQX

I worked within a six-person team of UX writers for the fin-tech company FQX to create a comprehensive content style guide, contextualize that content style guide with copy audits of notifications within the onboarding flow, and give content testing guidelines.
Personal Impact
- Led and organized supplementary UX writer team meetings, boosting team productivity and efficacy
- Developed content vision, content mission, and persona statements for the content style guide
- Rewrote copy for 45 of FQX’s onboarding alerts with two other team members and provided additional suggestions within alerts and emails
- Designed a content user testing guide with examples drawn from copy our team wrote

I worked on a TTRPG game matching service while learning the ropes of UX writing through the UX Writing Academy. This project was carried through the comprehensive life cycle of research, content design, and testing.
Personal Impact
- I learned that documenting rationales is a crucial component of the UX writing/content design process
- The more comprehensive a content style guide is, the easier it is to write
- Setting personal small increment deadlines for copy explorations increases my efficiency as a writer
- My most important lesson I’ve taken away from StoryTeller was learning how to improve and implement those changes for the better
